This is a flavor that I was periodically asked about by customers.  It does not grow in my area, so I was never really excited about this flavor.  However, recently, I was in the store and decided to give it a go!  So, I bought guavas from Costa Rica – I understand there are many different varieties of guavas.   Guava certainly has a tropical bias.  Cuban customers once told me they eat guava fruit paste with cream cheese.  I have since learned that this is quite the practice across Central and South America.

Ingredients:  Guava, cane sugar, lime juice and pectin.
